Product Description
Lighthouse was a rock group from Toronto, Canada that issued a number of fine albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The group was headed up by drummer Skip Prokop. Their music was in the style of the horn bands of that era. Their most popular album was their self-titled very first album, Lighthouse, which was issued on RCA Records in 1969. Our CD reissue features two bonus tracks.

1. Mountain Man
2. If There Ever Was A Time
3. No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed
4. Never Say Goodbye
5. Follow The Stars
6. Whatever Forever
7. Eight Miles High
8. Marsha, Marsha
9. Ah I Can Feel It
10. Life Can Be So Simple

Bonus Tracks:
11. If There Ever Was A Time (Single Version)
12. Eight Miles High (Single Version)

The accuracy of this statement is somewhat debatable "Their most popular album was their self-titled very first album, Lighthouse, which was issued on RCA Records in 1969." From what I recall their most popular album was "One Fine Morning" which was released in 1971 on GRT here in Canada. I had the cassette tape and just recently picked up the original vinyl. The title track was a huge hit [and a great song too].

Anyway, I did buy this reissue but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. I saw Skip Prokop with backup band last winter in a small town [Aylmer]. Still puts on a good show.

I was thinking the same thing. Typical record label hype, I guess.

"one fine morning" and the "sunny days" both sold well around here.

i don't ever even remember seeing the debut anywhere.
