My friends and I table at a lot of different conventions, but our best sales are at non-comic book fairs, especially out State Library's annual book fair.

Looks like they've got more comics now than at the 2007 ALA--the only one I've been to. I was thrilled to find as much as I did then!
So...according to these interviews librarians smell better, are very nice, and are passionate people. Sounds about right.

This might not be the best time of year to try that, actually. After bicycling downtown to the Rotary lunch and back today this particular librarian was kind of sweaty.
