Marlon Brando:should've laid off the Ding Dongs, but undisputably a great talent.

I love On The Waterfront and Apocalypse, Now as much as the next guy, but The Godfather is one of my top three or so movies. Easy choice for me.

Apocalypse Now was huge with me and my gang of friends(I had a friend who knew every word of dialogue) but I think he was messing with Coppola's mind a bit....So I'll vote for The Godfather. He played the role perfectly.

I think the Godfather is the best movie, but On the Waterfront is the best showcase of Brando's talent.

I like the young Brando and he never looked better than his performance in The Wild One!

I've only seen it once but I went with On The Waterfront. I remember thinking during it, "Oh, that's why this guy has such a reputation as an actor." Growing up I only knew Brando from things like Superman and Apocalypse Now, I was somewhat mystified why Brando had such a huge reputation.

Yeah, that was as awkward an experience as has ever happened in my life.

My mother has an autographed picture of Brando that he sent her when she was a teen.
She also has a handwritten letter to her by a young Rock Hudson.

I'd have voted for The Godfather, but I don't consider it a Brando movie, I consider it a Pacino movie. So I voted for On The Waterfront, which is essential viewing, in my opinion. He's brilliant in it.

Not a Brando fan, but three of his movies would appear on my desert island list...
