He's in the same category as John Romita Jr with me. Think he's great at drawing male characters but there is something about how he draws women that I don't like much.

My favorite stuff he did was really All Star Superman. The colors and art were fantastic on that book.

I think his poses and facial expressions are sometimes a little to muted, too still. I like a little more mustard on the hot dog, when it comes to superheroes. That "Kirby crackle."

I'm stunned this has been so positive. I feel like I'm always hearing how "ugly" his art is.
After reading "Flex Mentallo", he's definitely in my top three.

It's odd that I like Quitely's art,because parts of it are ugly.
His people often have puckered expressions on their faces.His young women can look like old crones.His approach to anatomy is...unique;his figures can have impossibly straight legs that are three times longer than their torsos.
Yet,however ugly the parts are,Quitely brings them together to make something beautiful.
