That is incredible. I'm inclined to say that the market for this is people with way more money than sense--but from a technical point of view it's impressive. My dad works in an auto bodyshop (second career since an injury a few years back ended his work in construction), and he could tell you that it takes a LOT of hand work to fabricate and finish custom parts like that. I can believe it takes 15 people a whole year to build 8 cars. Considering that they're hand built like that, $150,000 is actually a good price.
If you look at the "Further Details" page it says on the bottom that they use a Lincoln Town Car chassis. That's where they save their money--used Town Cars tend to be dirt cheap. Now I know who it is that buys up those Town Cars I see advertised for sale in the classifieds when their owners die or go into a nursing home.
