I want you to think of a reviled movie (preferably one that you don't like) and come up with a handful of non-insulting reasons why a sane, intelligent person would enjoy it.
Batman & Robin.
1) Because it's funny. 2) Because some of the set design is really cool to look at. 3) Because George Clooney is a likeable actor. 4) Because there's nipples on the guy's suits, but not on the girl's 5) Because it's really not as awful as everyone makes it out to be. 6) Because it's still Batman.

1) Ryan Reynolds has charisma 2) The Green Lantern Corp are awesome, especially Sinestro 3) Fidelity to the source 4) It's not nearly as bad as I make it out to be.

1) Lots of great bits pulled from 2000AD. 2) They actually did a good job creating Mega City One without CG 3) Stallone can almost always be counting on to deliver the action goods 4) The inclusion of a couple of really mental bad guys, like the one with the anger dial on his forehead

And it laid the groundwork for the remake Christopher Nolan is doing with Bane in it.
1) Hulk vs the Army was a fine piece of comic book storytelling 2) Sam Elliot was very good as Thunderbolt Ross 3) Jennifer Connely is very pretty 4)...Purple pants?
