I love Willie's shows. I don't know that "mellow" is right though. I mean, he does have a relaxed vocal delivery, phrasing his lyrics in unusually ways. But that's part of his charm. I also love his guitar playing, which isn't showy by any means but very expressive.

I just read somewhere that Willie Nelson smokes pot. Jeepers? Who would have thought such an upstanding member of the country music community would engage in illegal activities...?
