For the last five years I've been working on a 35mm science fiction film called Love in the year 2000. Set in the future, it's about a relationship representative named Lucky who falls in love when she's assigned to a client named Lena Nigari, who is doing something unheard of -- going on a date as herself. Filming was completed in 2011 with support from the Panavision New Filmmaker's Equipment Grant.

We're raising $10,000 on Kickstarter. There are 10 days left and we're at 26% of the goal. The movie has been entirely filmed -- this is to pay for post-production: the soundtrack, the sound mix and the final edit.

If everyone on Imwan pledges $1, then we're home free. For $5,000 I'll throw in a film print. We also have some cool stuff like props.as incentives.
