I was just at the Barnes And Noble bookstore in Bay Shore NY and came across a brand new magazine . Its named Vintage Rock , I'm pretty sure this is the second issue . It is put out by the same people as Classic Rock magazine. I have read one article so far and I already love this magazine . It's a bit pricey at $14.99 , but I think it'll be worth it . If I could figure out how to add a picture of the cover , I would . It has a picture of Buddy Holly on the cover and has articles on Johnny Kidd & The Pirates , Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent , Muddy Waters , Johnny Cash , James Burton , Wee Willie Harris and much more . Great cd reviews and minimal advertising .

This looks great. My Barnes & Noble (in White Plains, NY) carries Classic Rock, Mojo, Uncut, Prog, etc., so they'll probably get this if they haven't already. $14.99 IS a little pricey, though. Maybe I can find a B&N in-store coupon somewhere.

This looks great. What's the album review section like? Does it come with a CD?

They have about 35 to 40 cd reviews . New releases , reissues , compilations and a couple of box sets . There are 7 or 8 reviews per page , so they're not very in depth reviews . All in all it really is a great magazine . The articles are very informative , well written with great photos . I'm hooked , I'll be a regular buyer of it .
