I forgot about the world-changing thread.

Very cute photos!

Shortly before Christmas I got close enough to a herd of deer at Mt. Nebo State Park to take a close-up photo of them. But I'm not posting it because it doesn't look that great.

The closest I have been to a deer is when it was leaping over the car hood. eeps

I currently have pieces of one in my freezer.

That is a good place to have a part of one. All things considered.

Is it destined for deer steak or deer loaf or deer balls?

That sounds kind of dirty/disgusting.....

Is that any way to treat a friend?

Actually it was a present from a friend. It's a guy my parents' age who has been camping on their land and hunting every season since I was a child. He and his wife built a house there where they now live. Last time I went to see them he invited me to take some venison home. So I did.

Some of it will be deer burgers. The rest will be either a roast or possibly stew meat.

This thread is so cute it hurts. Its just utterly sickening how cute these pics are.

Learning to appreciate both their cuteness and their delectability helps to strike a happy medium.

We need a cartoon of a deer looking into Daphne's freezer with a shocked expression.
