I consider myself a pretty big Miles fan, & I'd never heard of this one before. Said to be from 1972, & per Amazon songs on here were hits in the UK & Japan.

Edit:

Already out in the USA (since 2009!) on Wounded Bird who says it's from 1974, rather than 1972.

The earth song was a track buddy was working on with hendrix back in 1969.

did buddy miles ever do a studio version of his excellent cover of 'down by the river'?

I think that's on the "Them Changes" album. The live version is on The Best of Buddy Miles, which shares a similar cover to "Them Changes."

Greg is correct. Studio version of "Down by the River" on "Them Changes" album (great album, get it!).

Yes, & i love both of them also!

The "Them Changes" album has been available in Germany for several years on cd; afaik "Buddy Miles Live" has never seen cd.
