If you don't have these, I consider Now their 2nd best album & Y&R their 3rd. No clue what the mastering will sound like, but musically highly recommended.

The debut album and Young and Rich were reissued as a twofer titled White Punks on Dope on the import Acadia label, a few years ago. Looks like it's OOP.

The fact that these two albums, their second and third releases, have been out of print for years—and Now never even issued on CD in this country—is eloquent testimony to the fact that the Tubes are one of the most underrated bands of the ‘70s (though not underrated by all—used CD copies of these albums go for staggering figures online).
"young and rich" was issued domestically, i have it on A&M. made in the USA

Renny...what that passage was saying was that the album "Now" was never released domestically. As I recall, it was a bit of a pain to track down when I got mine.

Got my copy today at 'Rama. Mastered by Maria Triana, it says. Sounds pretty good on my boombox at work, not maxed out. Interesting liner notes, but I wonder how this slipped by the proofreaders: "Now was the last studio album the Tubes recorded for A&M." Seems like they forgot about Remote Control, from 1979.
