The next 3 of Sandy's solo albums are getting the Deluxe Edition treatment on May 29 (her first solo album North Star Grassman and the Ravens was Deluxed in June 2011). Complete track listings not yet shown.

Here's an article from Sandy's official site:

New deluxe Editions of Sandy's classic Island recordings
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On May 21st 2012, Universal is set to release the last three solo albums which Sandy Denny recorded for Island Records during her lifetime. The release coincides with a special tribute tour – “The Lady: A Homage to Sandy Denny” - which commences on May 19th.

Each of the three albums is now presented as a deluxe two-disc edition: SANDY, was released in September 1972 and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year; LIKE AN OLD FASHIONED WALTZ, from June 1974 and RENDEZVOUS which was released in May 1977, less than a year before her death in April 1978. In the intervening years Sandy Denny’s reputation has escalated and it is largely down to this sequence of solo albums (which are built mostly around her own compositions), that she is now widely regarded by musicians and critics alike as Britain’s finest female singer songwriter.

The expansive bonus material includes home and studio demos, alternate takes and live recordings pertaining to each release. Of special note is an radio broadcast on Disc Two of SANDY, containing eight unadorned songs recorded live on a tour of the US at Ebbets Field, featuring tracks from the SANDY, and THE NORTH STAR GRASSMAN AND THE RAVENS albums, as well as the only live performance of “At the End of The Day” from LIKE AN OLD FASHIONED WALTZ. There is also a previously unreleased band version of “The Lady” and a live version of “Whispering Grass” from Dutch Television and an alternate take of the R n’ B tinged “Take Me Away” from the RENDEZVOUS sessions among many other rare or deleted extra tracks.

All three albums contain a wealth of well-known guest musicians including the likes of Richard Thompson, Jerry Donahue, Allen Toussaint, Steve Winwood, Diz Disley, ‘Sneaky’ Pete Kleinow and John Kirkpatrick to name a few.

SANDY, widely regarded as Sandy’s finest solo album, features such memorable Denny compositions as “The Lady”, “It’ll Take A Long Time” and “Listen, Listen” plus “The Quiet Joys of Brotherhood”, the last traditional tune she recorded, underpinning an astonishing multi-tracked vocal arrangement of a Richard Farina lyric.

LIKE AN OLD FASHIONED WALTZ is Sandy’s most romantic sounding record; built around her own compositions it includes the exceptional “Solo”, and “No End”, “Carnival” and “At The End Of The Day” as well as two sumptuous jazz standards, “Whispering Grass” and “Until The Real Thing Comes Along”.

RENDEZVOUS shows a departure in style for Sandy, with several more up-tempo recordings, like “Take Me Away” and a cover of Richard Thompson’s “For Shame of Doing Wrong”. The album also includes an unusual session cut live with the band and strings which yielded gems like “I’m A Dreamer” and “No More Sad Refrains”, the haunting, orchestral “All Our Days”, and “One Way Donkey Ride”.

These new editions coincide with a UK tour entitled “The lady: A homage to Sandy Denny” which will present an evening of classic songs by Sandy featuring Joan Wasser (aka Joan As Policewoman), Maddy Prior, Jerry Donahue, Dave Swarbrick, Green Gartside, PP Arnold and Thea Gilmore, who last year succeeded in bringing to life a selection of Sandy Denny’s unrecorded songs on the album DON’T STOP SINGING.

Is this the commonly circulating (though quite good) Fairport with Sandy Ebbets show, or a new to circulation solo show?

The good news on this series (Universal UK Deluxe) is for those with patience they tend to go down in price pretty drastically in a year or 2.

No.

From the description, I believe it's almost certainly this show (which I haven't heard, but is listed in Clinton Heylin's "Gypsy Love Songs and Sad Refrains" book):

Ebbets Field , Denver April 1973
1. Late November
2. The Music Weaver
3. It Suits Me Well
4. Bushes and Briars
5. The Quiet Joys of Brotherhood
6. The Sea Captain
7. At The End Of The Day
8. John The Gun

Fairly similar setlist to the two shows heard on the BBC box set, but with at least a couple welcome differences. I have so little live Sandy that it'll be very welcome addition to my collection.

Album History
The Sandy LP was begun just a fortnight after her UK tour promoting her debut solo album The North Star Grassman and the Ravens ended in early November 1971.

The first song recorded for the album was 'The Quiet Joys of Brotherhood', a Richard Farina lyric Sandy had set to a traditional Irish melody 'My Lagan Love' her multi tracked vocal arrangement having been inspired by the Ensemble of the Bulgarian Republic. Demo sessions continued at the recently constructed Manor Studio in Oxfordshire, the first studio owned by Richard Branson's Virgin label. The Manor sessions resulted in rough versions of 'Sweet Rosemary', 'The Lady', 'The Music Weaver', 'Listen, Listen', 'For Nobody to Hear' and 'Bushes and Briars'. A further two tracks were begun but not finished: a cover version of fellow folk singer Anne Briggs's 'Go Your Own Way My Love' and another Denny original 'After Halloween' which was reworked three years later for Fairport Convention's Rising for the Moon album. A demo version from Manor Studio was later issued on the Who Knows Where the Time Goes? boxset in 1985.

All of the albums songs were finished at Sound Techniques and Island Studios in about 5 sessions between the end of April and late May where string arrangements by Harry Robinson were also added. Two further Denny compositions were recorded 'It Suits Me Well' and 'It'll Take a Long Time' and a cover version; (the by now ubiquitous Bob Dylan cover) of 'Tomorrow Is a Long Time' completed the LP. (Sandy had performed Dylan covers on all her Island records releases with Fairport Convention, Fotheringay and on her solo debut The North Star Grassman and the Ravens. Allen Toussaint’s brass arrangement on 'For Nobody to Hear' was recorded at his Sea-Saint studio in New Orleans.

The album was originally issued in a gatefold sleeve featuring on its cover a photograph by David Bailey, that came to define Sandy's public image. The gatefold of the Lp opened to show the song lyrics handwritten by Sandy herself and bordered by garlands of flowers drawn by Trevor Lucas's sister the illustrator Marion Appelton. The back cover featured the tracklisting and credits.

Radio One DJ Tony Blackburn picked the albums lead single Listen, Listen as his single of the week in September 1972.

Album History
Like an Old Fashioned Waltz is the third solo album by Sandy released in June 1974. The album marked her first release that contained none of the folk influences seen on her recordings thus far and for this reason it divided her fans into those that preferred the traditional elements of her earlier work and those that followed her development as a singer songwriter.

Work began on the album whilst Sandy was still promoting her previous LP Sandy. The first track recorded was 'No End' at Walthamstow Assembly Hall on 3rd December 1972 in a solo version accompanying herself on the piano (this version was subsequently discarded in favour of a new recording with a band and strings). Sandy embarked on a month long tour of the US in April 1973 stopping off at the famous studios at A&M Records to record four songs; 'Friends', 'Solo', 'At the End of the Day' and the new version of 'No End' prior to a week long residency at the Troubadour, Los Angeles. A fifth song 'What Is True' was also begun at these sessions, but was left incomplete. It was later recorded for the Fairport Convention Rising for the Moon album the following year. After a tour of Europe throughout June and July, sessions for the album resumed at Sound Techniques in London in August where the remaining tracks were recorded; 'Carnival', 'Like an Old Fashioned Waltz', 'Dark the Night' and the two jazz standards 'Whispering Grass' and 'Until the Real Thing Comes Along'.

The album was originally issued in an embossed gatefold sleeve styled in the colours described in the albums title track (primrose yellow and velvet green) and designed to look like an antique plate, with a floral motif drawn by Sandy herself. The cover photograph by Gered Mankowitz depicts Sandy in an old style image in the Edwardian taste that she admired. Once again the lyrics were reproduced in the gatefold. A single of Whispering Grass/Friends was released in a sepia picture sleeve in the style of the album cover in October 1973, the album was to be released shortly afterwards, but was delayed until June 1974 due to a vinyl shortage, by which time Sandy had rejoined Fairport Convention.

Album History
For the first time in years Sandy recorded portions of Rendezvous live, including an extraordinary session at Basing Street on April 25th where 'Full Moon', 'No More Sad Refrains' and 'I'm a Dreamer' were cut live with the band and strings in a single day.

The majority of the album was recorded in the two weeks between 23rd of April and 7th June at Basing Street and Island Studios; further sessions from the 9th to the 18th of June were largley devoted to extensive mixing and overdubs. The exception being 'Still Waters Run Deep' and 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles'.

A selection of cover versions were recorded for the album but discarded including 'Losing Game' by the Flying Burrito Brothers and Lowell George's 'Easy to Slip'. Several Denny originals were also recorded and not used, including 'Full Moon', 'By the Time It Gets Dark' and 'Still Waters Run Deep'.

The album originally entitled Gold Dust was finished by July and due to come out in October 1976, but Island repeatedly delayed the release and it finally came out in May 1977 with new artwork, when Sandy was pregnant and unable to undertake a promotional tour. During this delay Sandy returned to the studio to record a cover version of Elton John's 'Candle in the Wind', which was added to the album in place of her own composition 'Still Waters Run Deep'. Both tracks were later released on a 7" single.

One last session took place days before the album's release to record Bryn Haworth's 'Moments', (intended as a B-side to a proposed 7" of 'I'm a Dreamer') which ended up being Sandy's final studio recording.

I own a LOT of Sandy Denny, including two boxed sets, but I think I will have to buy these. They look fantastic.
