Okay, so we all know that over the decades, to combat increasing costs etc, publishers made the comics smaller, both page count and physical dimensions.

Along the way, the physical size became what it currently is, and that's where it's remained since.

What was the first comic released at the current size (physical dimensions, not page count) and when?

I did a check for you. From what I gather, current size has been the same since 1975. However I couldn't find which book was the first to be printed in that size.

The only price change that year was DC going from 20¢ to 25¢. They may have cut the comic size slightly in dimensions, but I think I would've remembered that happening.

I would like to know what the first comic book was to celebrate and "anniversary" issue (50, 100, 150, 200 etc).

Thanks.

Cheers.

That's close enough for me. Always been curious on that one.
