Meaning, best movie made from an Alan Moore work. From Hell was simplified from the graphic novel, but enjoyable. Whatever you may think of Watchmen as a movie, you can't say it wasn't faithful to the comic, save for the one big change, which was actually a reasonable and logical change--unless you're a fan of giant squids. I have my quibbles with changes made in adapting V For Vendetta, but the veracity of the comic was retained.I even prefer the movie's climax to that of the comic books',and since I've always liked V a bit more than Watchmen, that gives it the edge. LXG was junk, but I had to list it. Moore may hate what Hollywood did with his comics, but I think 3 good movies out of 4 is a pretty good average.I'd like to see what someone could do with Marvelman.

The closest is indeed Watchmen, but as a movie, regardless how it drives a stake through the GN, V is better.

As an adaptation, Watchmen. As a movie that can stand on its own, it's either From Hell or V for Vendetta,

Agreed.
Wordy, but I still stand by it.

That is what I meant by "kinda by default," so the quote fix was spot-in, because it did not go too far, or say too much, and made me realize, yes, it was good. The quote fix caused me to look within myself. This was a day well spent.

Sometimes you have to just let your feelings out.

Say, when was the last time I even talked about a Mighty Mugg? I think you and Simon have mentioned it far more than I have in the past year.
Perhapas time for some new material? I understand a puppy is cock-blocking me as of late.

It revolted us far more than we let on. It's hard to let go.

I haven't seen From Hell, but other than that, I agree with Hanzo here.
