Another wasted chance. Too many things absent and too much S&G, although that's to be expected. Great idea, but yet again Legacy offers a head-scratcher. No "Second Avenue"? Really?

Agreed! No "Second Avenue"...no "I Shall Sing"...both of which charted Top 40. No "Since I Don't Have You". How about his theme from the Brooklyn Bridge TV show - which never appears anywhere. And yes, too much S&G.

I won't be getting this but I've been mad at Garfunkel ever since he did that cleaned-up version of "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life."

I don't own a single Art Garfunkel solo album and initally got excited when I saw the headline for this, read the tracklist which is considerably heavy on Simon and Garfunkel- totally needless, and decided that I'd save myself a few bucks buy not purchasing this.

Larry, you might want to look into the Playlist comp for Art Garfunkel that came out a year or two ago. I got it last year, and I really like it. It's the only solo AG album I have, and it's all I need. The only songs with Paul Simon were originally on Garfunkel's albums (i.e. "My Little Town", "What A Wonderful World").

I've been trying to decide for a while now which (of the few) comps to get. I was actually leaning towards the Playlist one. It seemed to cover his solo career well enough. I like that this offers more and compliments the Paul Simon "Songwriter" set released a few months back, but as mentioned, this has a lot of S&G tracks. But it's hard to complain about the quality of music and seems to cover a career span.

I agree on all counts. I was also really hoping they'd include the rarity 'Fingerpaint.'

New release date of Aug. 28 and track listing. Also, 2 new songs will be included. This is better, but still not optimal.

9.Bright Eyes
10.Two Sleepy People

12.Scarborough Fair/Canticle (Simon and Garfunkel)

Excited to see this, but the omission of "Since I Don't Have You" is inexcusable.

Infuriating that both the full version of the non-LP track "Second Avenue" isn't included, nor the Holland-only1st pressing track "Fingerpaint" off of Watermark, removed to make room for "(What a)Wonderful World."

And for just a stunning album track, "Since I Don't Have You" should have absolutely been included.

I would be very happy if we can a MFSL or AF of "Breakaway".
