Bannings: One too few . . .
Trailer looks pretty cool. I'll probably see this, maybe on home video.

I've never had to use this many Laughing Francos on a Monday before.

Why is the Washinton Monument sitting there in Lincoln's time?

It was at least started by Lincoln's time. Maybe it's completion is another one of the subtle differences between our history and this movie. :D

Maybe they were able to use zombie slaves to complete it before 1884.

This movie is going to give a lot of high school history teachers some strange last-minute "research" papers.

Or vampires who would work for regular day rates all through the night. Doubled up the shifts.

I'm really hoping that shot is part of a present-day framing device for the movie, so that when I inevitably say something like "The Washington Monument wasn't completed during Lincoln's presidency", I'm not met with some snotty, ignorant teenager's reply of "Whatever, dude, it's just a movie."

Don't forget Hanzo showing up with the "Oh, and suppose you thought it was totally realistic when vampires showed up, thanks."

Yes. The inevitable "You're overthinking it" defense.

Fuck that. Everyone else is fucking underthinking it.

Seriously, you can also see the big lake thing in that shot, and that is part of the Lincoln Memorial -- it wasn't there in Lincoln's time. None of that crap around the Mall area was.

So it's probably a modern day shot or something.

I never read the book. I should probably do that.

That book is written by the same guy who wrote Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which was published by Quirk Books (where Stephen Segal works or worked). That book was their biggest hit ever, and the author went on to sign a big book deal to do ALVH.

You can see Forest Gump in the Washington shot.
