I met him once. His niece was going to the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre at the same time I was and he came to our graduation. RIP.

F---in' A, man. Name was super familiar but wasn't placing it.

He was a good, solid character actor.

A couple of years back, I saw a couple of episodes of his '60s TV Show Run For Your Life and I found his character to be unlikeable. I understand the premise that he was a dying man, but it was hard to muster sympathy for his character based on what I'd seen.
