For the other side of the scale...which movie most misrepresented its TV model,or was just plain bad? My choice:Land Of The Lost. Dear God,this was bad.Don't remember ever seeing an episode of the TV show, but it's hard to imagine it could be as bad as this movie. To be fair, the movie had one good laugh, but it comes at the very end of the movie, and no joke is worth sitting thru this movie.

The Flinstones. From a great cartoon to some of the worst movies of all time.

Must be Land of the Lost. I was a huge fan of the show, I like Will Ferrel, and I couldn't get through 20 minutes of it.

As a TV show, Dukes of Hazzard was dumb but harmless, while the movie wasn't just stupid, but downright offensive.

I absolutely refused to watch Land of the Lost so I couldn't vote that way even though I'm sure it deserved it. I went with Bewitched instead. A movie with an incredibly stupid concept and even worse execution.

"The Avengers" was definitely pretty bad, but it did at least make me want to see the TV show, because I was all, "I would love to see this premise done well."

I have to go with Land of the Lost, the trailers didn't even make it look good...

The warning signs were there. You choose to ignore them.

The only one I've seen was Wild Wild West. And there is no way that one can be the worst because sexy Salma Hayek is in it, which alone makes it the best movie on the list.

The only way that Bewitched could not win this poll is if you guys haven't seen it to realize how awful that it is.

My choice isn't listed, so my "other" vote goes to The Honeymooners.

The problem is that most of these movie adaptations look so bad that I never bother watching them. I will say that of all of these movies I've never seen, "Wild Wild West" would, I guess, seem to be the suckiest.

Wild Wild West had a gigantic, mechanical, steampunk tarantula in it.
Semi-win.

I saw Land of the Lost on T.V. recently, and while it wasn't even attempting to be faithful to the series, it had a few very funny moments. Of course, probably not enough, and certainly not if you were expecting a faithful recounting of a favorite childhood show or something like that.
But from that list, though I can't recall the details, I do remember that The Wild, Wild, West made me cringe and I was embarrassed for them.

If Wild, Wild, West hadn't been based on Wild, Wild, West, it would be a somewhat decent action/comedy sci-fi romp.
If Land of the Lost hadn't been based on Land of the Lost, it would still be an incredibly stupid movie full of plot holes, and constantly shifting tone.
