Shade the Changing Man. A highly underrated creation.

I loved his Starman also. Great fun.

The Blue Beetle. (Where Spider-Man might have gone if Ditko had continued with that book.) His BB series includes my favourite superhero story of all time.

Ditko's "best" creation is probably Mr. A, as the purest expression of his own philosophies.

Don't want to start a whole "thing," but one of the things I'm most appreciative of is his revival of Hulk in Tales to Astonish. I think he got that book right in the sweet spot where it needed to be.

I think I'll take the Question over Blue Beetle for the Charlton work.

Creeper all the way baby! His identity is a trashy news journalist and he pretends he is crazier than he is to freak people out... plus a healing factor that I think may have predated Wolverine's... An awesome creation that is too rarely handled properly.

I voted Blue Beetle. Ted Kord had so much potential. Back in the day (pre-JLI) I really thought he could've become a breakthrough A-List character.

While Jay is right with the Hulk and Ross is just as right with the Creeper, I'm gonna go all in and say Speedball. Totally underused and under-appreciated by Marvel.

Astonishing cover. Better than anything he did for Marvel.

Blue Beetle vs. the Destroyer of Heroes is a great book.

The giant chicken. ;)

I have to vote for Dr. Strange - it's the only one on the list I've read. :)

Never read any of them. I don't care for his art after the 60s at all, and never got into Dr. Strange. I want to remedy that one day though.

All of them but Shade and Speedball are 60's work.

I think Jeff meant "Marvel" when he said "60s"

He's been used a lot. New Warriors, Thunderbolts (drastically changed for that one), Avengers Initiative (back to normal, for the most part), and now Avengers Academy.

Um...wut? It's a good cover, but it's a stretch to say it's better than his Amazing Spider-Man or Doctor Strange work.

Even if we're just talking covers, look at ASM #s 2, 3, 24, 28, or especially 33.

I felt like posting a similar response, but then I thought, "Well, it's Steve. Let it rest."

Steve . . . the unintentional troll. :D
