I have developed my first iPhone app and would love all my friends here to help spread the word. It's the beta version 1.0 and it is FREE and will remain so.

You can find out more here:

http://www.wabbleme.com

Thanks!

That's a cool idea but I have absolutely no one with which to use it. I literally know no one who doesn't speak English. Still, great idea and I wish you much success.

Some sticky love for Allen.

In the future, this app will be considered the foundation of Starfleet's universal translator.

Cool idea, but are you aware that Wabble is the name of an online Scrabble clone?

wabble.org

Just thought I would bring it to your attention if you did not already know.

Fascinating. Do you use the Google Translate API in the background? (We do something similar for our website at http://www.reviversoft.com where everything is auto-translated using Google's API.)

Wabble was taken which si why it's WabbleMe as one word :)

Google cut off their API, not sure what my developers used.

And thanks Linda. Who knows :)

I know that the WordPress side of things uses a custom-built WordPress plug-in by Sonny, one of our programmers. Not sure how we managed it on the rest of the site, since, like you said, Google cut off their API recently.

If you have developers, what's your role in the project?

Downloaded it, twice, and left a comment.

I won't have much use for it, but what the heck. I have hundreds of apps, one more won't kill me.

My boss sez the Google Translate API is still available; it just costs money now.
