So, tis the season for sweeps holiday television. Of course through the ages of the small-box, we have been graced with some fantastic television celebrating Thanksgiving. Now, I am not counting the obvious specials, such as Charlie Brown and what not. No, I want to know what you think are the best Thanksgiving episodes of ongoing television shows.

My vote goes to WKRP.

K ... R... P!! No parachutes yet. Can't be skydivers... I can't tell just yet what they are, but - Oh my God, Johnny, they're turkeys!! Johnny, can you get this? Oh, they're plunging to the earth right in front of our eyes! One just went through the windshield of a parked car! Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! Not since the Hindenburg tragedy has there been anything like this!

Friends had some good thanksgiving episodes. I remember laughing alot at the Brad Pitt "I hate Rachel Greene" one.

My Favorite Friends Holiday ep was the Holiday Armadillo.

TBS just showed the "turkey stuck on Joey's head" episode.

It was funnier when Mr. Bean did it.

The first Simpsons Thanksgiving episode holds up well. Bart ruins Lisa's centerpiece, runs away, and donates blood for money.

I'm glad this thread prompted me to look up the Friends thanksgiving episode. That was pretty funny.

I've never noticed the similarities with Gracie Allen and Harly Quinn before.

Talk about product placement. Carnation milk really got its money's worth with this episode.

This is my favorite, even though I think it could be argued it's more of a great scene than agreat overall episode. The moment where Sam first flings the food at Diane from off-camera is always worth the wait...and a little satisfying, too.

Even though it's brief, the moment where they toast Coach chokes me up
every time I see it.

Most of the Friends ones were funny too. I've still never seen the famous WKRP one.

I just watched the Brad Pitt episode last night. Funny at the time because they were married in real life.

Yeah, Friends always did have great Thanksgiving episodes. I think my all-time favorite is when they played touch football. A classic.

I just checked this and the word "honestly" did not appear in the quote. Maybe I'll start a thread on things you find out you've been misquoting for years.
