I LOVED this book as a kid... I got it out of the library over and over until my aunt got me a copy for Christmas. I really, really loved this book.

His DC: 60 Years book wasn't quite as good as I recall.

RIP, Les, and thanks for the childhood memories.

What is the source for this news?

Daniels' Wikipedia page (cited above) still lists him as being alive. I searched a number of comics news sites and even did a Google search. I found no news anywhere about Daniels having died.

Are we sure that he really is dead?
