X-Men Writer Chris Claremont Donates Archive to Columbia University

Quote:
Renowned comics writer and novelist Chris Claremont, best known for his many years writing Marvel’s X-Men and Uncanny X-Men series, has reached an agreement to donate his archives to Columbia University’s Rare Book and Manuscript Library. During his 17 years writing for the series, Claremont is credited with both developing strong female characters as well as introducing complex literary themes into superhero narratives while turning the X-Men into one of Marvel’s most popular series.

Why does Columbia University get all that stuff? That's not really fair. I would've applied.

Now that I've read the article, I am kind of amazed.

I need to move to New York now.

So...one for X-Men creator today generously announces a large donation of stuff to higher education while his co-plotter announces that he makes nothing when someone buys one of his books out of the quarter bin and makes it sound as if life is so unfair.

I was at a football game at Columbia once. Nice stadium, tough place to park.
