That'll never happen. The eight-year-old will have an app to do that for him.

I can relate; I often reach and touch the screen of my GF's laptop to swipe down on a page, having become so used to doing so on my Asus Transformer. I've done it repeatedly while helping her with something, to the point where she began to question my abilities as her tech support. :)
