Thanks for the posting David. I preordered this as well as the new Dwight Twilley "Soundtrack".

I have read this that he (Dwight) has a documentary being readied. Maybe the "Soundtrack" CD is of this.

Was there ever an Archive Series 1?

I don't believe so. Fuel might be calling this "Volume 2" in preparation for more volumes in the future. The first Phil Seymour solo album was issued in a remastered, expanded edition by Collectors' Choice in 2005 -- that's essentially "Volume 1", and is now out of print:

Thanks Linda. Yes, I have the Phil Seymour CD from Collector's Choice. It's going for big bucks on Amazon these days.

The good news Earl is that they will reissuing this next year if I interrupted the liner notes correctly. The bonus tracks on this are actually very good, even more so than the album in IMO.

Glad to have the disc. Receiving this and Dwight Twilley's "Soundtrack" on the same brought a smile my face.

I had that same experience. Am loving this disc. So glad I got to see him on his solo tour in '81.

Phil Seymour. Late May or early June 1981 at the Roxy in LA/West Hollywood. Great show. It was one of two concerts I saw during my three-weeks-in-California trip to celebrate the end of grad school. The other was Ambrosia at Cal Poly Pomona. Good times...

I'll say, good for you. I saw Phil Seymour once when he to play with 20/20 at Madame Wong's in Santa Monica, oh gosh in '77 I believe. It's been awhile. The place went crazy when he came on stage for a couple tracks.

And Ambrosia, wow they were big in those days. I have all their stuff. Saw then with the most unlikely pairing, the Strawbs at the Capitol Theater, Passaic, NJ.
