And while some of the above rockers are worthy, Deep Purple should be a higher priority, as should Yes, early Chicago, Moody Blues, etc.

I really hope this is an unprecedented year for women to enter the R&R Hall of Fame and that Heart, Joan Jett, Laura Nyro, and Rufus with Chaka Khan are all inducted! I love Donna Summer, but I think of all of them, she is (and will always be) a long-shot!

Do any of us think the R&R HoF has ANY credibility? Definitely agree about Small Faces/Faces, Donovan & War. I was just listening to a couple of War LP's this weekend.

As Rokin Robin said, where are Deep Purple, Yes, Chicago, Moody Blues, etc? Not to mention Rush, King Crimson, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and so on. And wasn't Kiss nominated but not inducted last year? If so, why are they not nominated again this year?

Although there are some great names, nothing will makes this stupid-ass creation by Mr. Wenner relevant. Ever.
Heart and The Cure should've been in years ago as well as The Faces/Small Faces, The Spinners, War, Donovan and Freddie King.
As fo the "newer" acts, The Beastie Boys and G N' R are no-brainers.
Rufus and Donna Summer rock? Uh, no, but great musical acts. Joan Jett & Blackhearts were fun, but Hall Of Fame worthy when most of their hits were covers? Maybe not. The Runaways shouldn't be there IMO, but if either were to get in I'd guess they should go first.
I'll be sure to miss next year's selections as usual.

Wonder if the original lineup for GnR will show up, and if they can avoid killing each other onstage. They certainly won't play together.

Heart is so long overdue for inclusion, they have be at the top of the list.

If GnR get in, this show is going to run about 11 hours...

The RaRHoF is totally irrelevant and that's all the time I'm going to waste on that.
