Awesome! I love this band and to have a legit comp (hopefully from the original master tapes) will be great if they get it right sonically and songwise. I loved all eras of this wonderful band.

I have "Call Of The West" on CD and a couple of other albums as digital copies from a friend. They're so much better than just "the band that did 'Mexican Radio'," which is how I thought of them for a long time. I will definitely keep an eye out for this compilation, if it's got a great track listing & good mastering. I also have one of Stan Ridgway's solo albums and really like that as well.

If you like this stuff, you NEED at a very bare minimum to get "Songs That Made This Country Great", an excellent Stan Ridgway comp. It's rather pricey at places like Amazwan, but it's more reasonable at CDBaby.
This comp was my entry into all things Stan Ridgway and I've gone much further since.

I'd just go with the Australian two-fer of the two Ridgway-era albums, plus the EP, which is available with a live set. Every track on those three is great.

You might have been looking at the listing page for Ridgway's self-released 2005 reissue of this comp -- there are currently 6 dealers selling the original Capitol pressing in various conditions for less than CDBaby:

Updated with cover art and track listing. Looks like a winner, but where's "Call Box"??? Anyway, looking forward to this one-hope it sounds good and the liner notes are good as well.
