What's the biggest misstep of the DC relaunch in your opinion?

There are a few.

1) Keeping the Batman and Green Lantern continuity. A full-on reboot would have made a lot more sense.

2) Too many "Part 1 of..." comics. If you're chasing a new digital audience, they need at least some of the books to feature strong single issues.

3) Same day digital being the same price as print. I appreciate the price drop after a month, but I'm not a new reader. All their doing is giving that new reader a month to figure out something else to spend their money on.

4) Playing it safe with talent/style. I like a lot of the creators, and many of the books look good, to me, but they're all still "modern, mainstream comics". They should have looked at Wednesday Comics for a guideline to what their publishing line should, and could, look like.

5) Playing it safe with characters/creators. Geoff Johns is writing two books. So are Scott Snyder, Jeff Lemire, Tony Daniels, and Gail Simone. Scott Lobdell is writing three books. If you're going to do a linewide relaunch appealing to as broad a range of readers as possible, then have 52 different writers, all with their own voice writing the comics. Along with that, there's the fact that there are 10 Batman family titles (Batman, Detective, Batman and Robin, The Dark Knight, Batwoman, Nightwing, Batgirl, Batwing, Catwoman, and Red Hood and the Outlaws). That's 20% of their line of titles. And that's not counting the returning Batman Inc. Add in the 4 Green Lantern books (GL, GL Corps, New Guardians, and Red Lanterns), and the 4 Superman Family books (Action, Superman, Supergirl, and Superboy) and that's more than a third of their books devoted to, essentially, three concepts.
