Stallone already ended the story with Rambo, it doesn't need to be drawn on any longer.

Ok, apparently this site is filled with communists who probably think Kim Jong Il has some pretty good ideas and wish people would get off his case.

Do it, Sly. Show us what AMERICA really is.

That was what the last one was to me. Utterly pointless movie.

The last movie was indeed horrible, but I'd like to see more Rambo movies. Stallone closed off the door on more Rocky movies, but he left it open for more Rambo movies.

Of course, hiring the screenwriter of the apparently terrible new Conan movie doesn't exactly fill me with hope.

I liked the last Rambo.

But then, I also liked the new Conan.

Only downside about this weekend is no Conan viewing party. But I am going to force my friends to go on Wednesday.

Another Rambo movie isn't the worst idea I've heard this week.

I'd watch it.

I agree that a final Rambo movie needs some tone, like the movie Unforgiven. Stallone is all about tone in his movies. :D

To me, the tone of the last Rambo was just excessive violence. I didn't feel the connection to John Rambo that I'd had in the previous movies, even the unintentionally comedic Rambo III.

The storyline was generic and it felt like Stallone was going through the motions this time out.

I think Sly needs to let his old characters go. It's not the eighties anymore.

If he does it, he needs to make sure it's the final Rambo film. He needs to kill him at the end of the film(like he was originally supposed to do in the first film) so there can be no going back.

That's because your body produces testosterone, like a REAL MAN.

Unlike SOME people I could name.

But won't.

Spoiler: show
Chris Evil, AKA Adolf Stalin Junior.

Spoiler: show
Rambo dies at the end of the novel of First Blood. But that didn't stop him from writing sequels.

Quote:
Two major characters, Rambo and Teasle, died at the end of the novel. However, when the film sequels to the First Blood film were released, author David Morrell wrote novelizations of the films. At the beginning of each book, as a part of an author's note, Morrell wrote:

In my novel First Blood, Rambo died. In the films, he lives.

In the 2000 printing of First Blood, Morrell wrote in a new introduction:

However, I did write a novelization for each of the sequels in an effort to supply the characterization that they omitted.

Or as it's also known, Rambo co-founds al-Qaeda.
