Sure you can. May you be ungrammatical? Not by my permission.

[Edited to add] Although in fairness to lemmings, they don't actually behave the way that they are characterized as acting.

I have to admit that CAPT. AMERICA turned out to be extraordinarily better than GL, but GL was still a bang-up good old time for me. I wish it had been as good, overall, as CAP, but on its own merits it was cool and fun. It's at the dollar theater starting on Friday and I'll probably be taking it in for a third time there.

[Edited to add] Although in fairness to lemmings, they don't actually behave the way that they are characterized as acting. From Snopes.com: Snopes.com wrote: Lemming suicide is fiction. Contrary to popular belief, lemmings do not periodically hurl themselves off of cliffs and into the sea. Cyclical explosions in population do occasionally induce lemmings to attempt to migrate to areas of lesser population density. When such a migration occurs, some lemmings die by falling over cliffs or drowning in lakes or rivers. These deaths are not deliberate "suicide" attempts, however, but accidental deaths resulting from the lemmings' venturing into unfamiliar territories and being crowded and pushed over dangerous ledges. In fact, when the competition for food, space, or mates becomes too intense, lemmings are much more likely to kill each other than to kill themselves.

The story goes that, while filming a 1958 Disney nature documentary titled White Wilderness, moviemakers forced lemmings off the edge of a cliff. Snopes rates this story as TRUE. http://www.snopes.com/disney/films/lemmings.asp

Ocean Doot wrote: "Funny" is an adjective. It's also a noun. Dictionary.com wrote: –noun 6. Informal . a funny remark or story; a joke: to make a funny. Don't try this at home.

Sometimes a comedic point is made without any intention of it being funny. Just like someone can be making a very tragic or dramatic point and be intentionally funny about it.
Comedy and funny often go hand in hand, but they don't have to and just as often aren't.

My grammar pet peeve of late is people who use the nominative case as objects of the prepositions, such as "between you and I" instead of the grammatical "between you and me." I hear this by supposedly educated characters on TV, at movies and even by journalist. It drives me crazy, figuratively, of course.
