Any idea if this is a band album or a solo guitar album? The cover & title make me think it's the latter, but he's been on such a roll of great rock albums lately that I hope this is another one.

This is from his blog back in January about the new album: After about three years of having to forego recording in my studio, I'm now able to be back in there. A combination of heaters, air fresheners and the blast of an electric guitar have blown away the spectres of cold and damp which have crept in through the walls and cracks over time.
I managed to successfully record a whole album in my living room, but it feels good to have my home back and great to hear everything again at full volume. It'll also be fantastic to record Gary's drums here too - pounded at full throttle. Noise is not an issue for neighbours here in this soundproofed padded cell...
Roger and I have gotten off to a frenzied start which all sounds fab through big studio monitors. A combination of electric, acoustic and twelve string guitars of orchestral proportions are being employed on the current track. We're already running the gamut of styles from a delicate, seventeenth century dance ditty to the heavy thrust of a stampeding army of sound.
I'll keep everyone updated as we continue our journey into the Aladdin's cave of the new album...
Sounds like it is a group effort, not just a solo acoustic guitar album.

I recieved my order of Live Rails which is live Steve Hackett. I didn't know this had come out. 2 CDs of good stuff! Disc 1 1."Intro”/ 2:18 2."Every Day”/ 6:51 3."Fire On The Moon”/ 6:17 4."Emerald and Ash”/ 9:00 5."Ghost In The Glass”/ 3:23 6."Ace Of Wands”/ 6:48 7."Pollution C”/ 2:21 8."The Steppes”/ 6:01 9."Slogans”/ 4:22 10."Serpentine”/ 6:43 11."Tubehead”/ 6:06 Disc 2 1."Spectral Mornings”/ 5:58 2."Firth Of Fifth”/ 10:39 3."Blood On The Rooptofs”/ 6:31 4."Fly On A Windshield”/ 2:07 5."Broadway Melody Of 1974”/ 1:47 6."Sleepers”/ 7:32 7."Still Waters”/ 5:31 8."Los Endos”/ 7:44 9."Clocks"/ 8:05 from an Amazon blurb: This double CD live album is a MUST listen for any lover of Progressive Rock and music in general. The compositions are flawless and the recordings impeccable. Steve Hackett, the genius behind this music is by far the most unheralded, unrecognized musician, performer, composer and guitar player in the world (unless of course you have been paying attention since he left Genesis). You will NOT regret buying this CD!!! TEN STARS!

That is a fantastic live album, and I'm very excited about his new studio album as well. As I mentioned before, he's been on a roll for a while, really since "To Watch The Storms." I wonder if the project he was working on with Chris Squire (which they implied might be called "Squackett") will ever come to fruition.

And I believe Hackett adds some guitar to Steve Wilson's upcoming new solo album!
Found this on wiki:
Mentioned collaborations to the album so far include Nic France on drums, Steve Hackett on lead guitar, Robert Fripp,[4] Tony Levin, Nick Beggs and Trey Gunn on warr guitar, Theo Travis and Jordan Rudess,[5] and some jazz musicians as mentioned above. However, no context for each participation have been revealed yet.
