It appears that Stevie Nicks has a new compilation coming soon, February 6th.

Anyone know if it has some new tracks, or better yet, some very old tracks with Lindsey Buckingham?

I doubt there will be anything new on the Nicks comp. She has stated recently that she has no interest in recording again...although maybe something unreleased may turn up on it.

This comp has been pushed back 4 times so far, most recent being from Jan to Feb. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come out at all, but it might be good if they pick the right tracks which they won't.

All I know about Steveie these days is her voice is shot. On Christmas Eve night we were driving back from NJ when on came a Stevie christmas song on the radio. I couldn't move fast enough to change the station. Ouch!

Well, that Christmas song was most likely "Silent Night" from 1987 and her voice was great then and I really like that rendition!
As for now, I think she still sounds OK and I don't think her voice is shot. Is it what it once was? No, but who her age can say yes-not even Roger Daltrey anymore.

She also contributed a more recent version of "Silent Night" (a live version) to A Very Special Christmas 5.

A case of someone's voice being shot is Bonnie Tyler. I know not many people even hear anything of her anymore here in America, but I've been a fan since I first heard her, and her latest album CELEBRATE aka WINGS has remakes of her own IT'S A HEARTACHE & TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART and they sound horrid. Stevie on the other hand, sounds different, but I don't think her voice is shot.

Nicks Preps Best-Of, Spring Tour With Isaak

Stevie Nicks is eyeing a March 27 release for "The Very Best of Stevie Nicks," her second greatest hits package for Reprise. The collection will include live versions of "Edge of Seventeen," "Landslide" and "Rhiannon" as well as her 2005 collaboration with dance act Deep Dish on "Dreams."

"Very Best" will also come packaged with a DVD that includes live performances and a unique commentary from Nicks about her songs, according to her spokesperson. A prior retrospective, "TimeSpace," reached No. 30 on The Billboard 200 in 1991.

Nicks will be in action Sunday (Feb. 4) with a performance as part of CBS' Super Bowl pre-game show. She will also play Florida shows on Feb. 6 in Hollywood and Feb. 9 in Tampa, and visit Las Vegas' Caesar's Palace for a stand on March 20-21 and 23-24.

Dates have yet to be announced, but look for the Nicks/Issak tour to get underway in May.

This is a better tracklisting than TimeSpace, but it would have been nice to see "After The Glitter Fades" and "Nightbird" on there.

I agree, except I don't care for live tracks...and I don't need another live version of RHIANNON nor LANDSLIDE.

I agree with Jevansniles. Live tracks don't fit in very well on a comp. Put out a live CD and put all the studio tracks on the comp. The main selling point with this one is that it takes us up to 2001.

I'd rather see NIGHTBIRD, AFTER THE GLITTER FADES, FREE FALLIN, VIOLET & BLUE, CRYSTAL, EVERYDAY, BLUE DENIM, MAYBE LOVE WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND, IF YOU EVER DID BELIEVE, TWO KINDS OF LOVE than the live tracks.

Not a good comp really-I agree, the live tracks-who cares? And, why any Fleetwood Mac songs at all (obviously to sell records)?
Nightbird and After The Glitter Fades were Top 40 hits missing (again), and Sometines It's A Bitch and Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind are hits absent for no reason as well.
Needles And Pins (w/ Tom Petty & Heartbreakers) was another Top 40 hit missing although techincally that was a Petty tune (and a cover at that).
And, Album Rock tracks they could've gone with, but didn't are:

Enchanted (#12, 1983)
Nothing Ever Changes (#19, 1983)
Violet And Blue (#19, 1984 from Against All Odds soundtrack)
Long Way To Go (#11, 1989-I love this song)
maybe even Blue Lamp from the Heavy Metal soundtrack would've been cool.

Obviously, we all could do a better job!
Why, oh why do they always get these things so damn wrong???
Nice DVD though-especially the ultra-rare second version of Stand Back.

She isn't really going to thrash her voice on the Zeppelin song.....is she???

Actually this looks like a better comp then I expected. Speaking of live Stevie, I would love to see a cd release of her first live VHS (the one that's never been on dvd). That entire show smokes.

The title has been (supposedly) changed to CRYSTAL VISIONS: THE BEST OF STEVIE NICKS which I like better than REFLECTIONS...I can't read that word without The Supremes being in my head for the rest of the day.
