I have almost no interest in sports that do not involve two guys beating the tar outta each other, but I'm going to watch Ken Burn's Baseball documentary series. Will I be converted to a baseball fan? Will checking how the Blue Jays are doing so far this year destroy any momentum of joy built by watching the documentary? Are stadium hot dogs as good as the legend?

It is a great series to watch if you are a fan of the Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers or Giants.

At Progressive Field, hot dogs are the awesome, even if overpriced.

I liked the show, and I've never had any interest in baseball. Didn't convert me into a fan. Although I am now in the process of watching the "Princess Nine" anime series, so maybe it had a very long-delayed effect.

You will at least have a better understanding of the game's Americana romanticism through the decades, back when it was the only game in town.

There's also a 10th inning update that was added since the original series.

As for the hot dogs, they're better if eaten outside. Make sure they roll the SkyDome's roof back.
… excuse me — Rogers Centre.

To quote Charlie Brown (more or less accurately), a hot dog doesn't taste right without a ball game in front of it.

Actually, come to think of it, I ate my dogs OUTSIDE Rogers Centre — before AND after the game. Those dog carts were super!

Honestly, I'm looking forward to ballpark hotdogs more than the game... :)
