Accent on SENSATIONAL. I only wish it included some rarities. This is a good starting point to become sensationalized!

Missing Gang Bang and Big Tree, Small Axe and Amos Moses and Anthem but otherwise - looks like a good place to start.

Contains the greatest Christmas song anywhere - plus it fits into a lot of Jimbo's Friday lists - There's No Lights On The Christmas Tree Mother, They're Burning Big Louie Tonight

plus a DVD of a live performance of Delilah

I finally got into SAHB a couple of years ago after finding a copy of the "Framed" LP at a record store in Brooklyn. I've since gotten a few others and really like them, although I'm far from an expert so I couldn't say what this collection is missing. I can say that they lived up to the hype after reading so many magazine articles (mostly in Mojo) over the years. For the price this looks like a good entry point for newbies.

Great! Because I had no idea where to start with these guys.
Not sure what price this new comp is gonna be, but you can't go wrong as a starter with SAHB Live if you see it cheap enough anywhere. Great versions of some of their all time career highlights - Faith Healer, Tomahawk Kid, Vambo, Delilah, Framed. Think I'm gonna play it now. Yo ho ho, sing it, yo ho ho!

Thanks Linda, and also if it was you who did that clever stuff to my post in the UFO thread.
And my name isn't Harry, by the way. Harry Hood is my favourite song by my favourite group of the last 20 years. But I promise not to act like a typical drugged up college drop-out knobhead.

I actually picture all Harrys on the Internet as Harry von Zell.
That was probably me who added the images and whatnot to your UFO post, yes. We try to have all the details for each title in the first post of every release thread.

Naah, picture me more like this.
And to get back on topic, I dug out all the Mercury 2002 twin pack reissues and had The Impossible Dream on my way to work this morning and Tomorrow Belongs To Me on the way home. Top stuff.
