Say you're a film producer and you have the unenviable task of re-casting the leads in the Marvel films (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the Avengers). You can't keep any of the previous actors, and the films aren't being rebooted, they're continuing Bond-style. Who would you choose?

Thor Mark Addy as Volstagg. I never really cared much for Addy's work before Game of Thrones, but after seeing and hearing him as King Robert, I believe he would be perfect in this role.

Iron Man - I know everyone else is in love with Robert Downey, Jr.'s Tony Stark, but I would have preferred Billy Crudup and I think that he would be a perfect replacement.

Avengers - Wentworth Miller as Hawkeye (a suggestion I have stolen from someone else on this board. I can't remember who.)

Oops. Didn't see the no rebooting thing. Have to think again on Fury.

A huge part of Iron Man's success was how funny RDJ was. I've only seen him in Watchmen and MI:III, so I don't know him that well... do you really think he's as capable of being funny and charming as RDJ, reaching across all demographics as a supremely likeable character? He didn't seem that way to me in the few films I've seen him in.

He was funny in Jesus' Son and after seeing him in the underrated Stealing Beauty, I believe that he can play just about any role.

Maybe Tom Hardy as Thor. Depending on how his coloring would do with blonde or reddish hair. (I don't want him to look like a whore).

He already looks like a whore.

I think I love him.

He's getting bulkier and bulkier. This is for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and of course Bane coming up.

The coloring looks like it would be close enough. Thor is hard because he needs to seem bigger than life.
