I HATE 2-fers with a passion, but I have been waiting forever to see latter-day Poco albums get remastered. I already own the MCA Under The Gun and it sounds OK, but I've heard BGO does good work. I would love to finally have Blue And Gray, a very underrated album, but the collector in me wants the individual albums. I know these are available as expensive Japanese imports, so this is probably my only shot.
I've asked before, but does BGO do good work and do they do any liner notes?

I've got a couple of BGO Loggins and Messina doubles - Sittin' In / Loggins & Messina, and Full Sail / Mother Lode. They're excellent - packaging, liner notes and remastering.

They're double disc sets, not 2-on-1's, though.

I was lucky enough to get these when they originally came out but now being remastered so I'll go again.
I personally find the "Blue and Gray" as one of my fave Poco sets so I'm in.

I've picked up a couple of the fairly recent BGO Atlanta Rhythmn Section 2-fer's lately. They sound really nice, but both albums are on one disc.

Alot of the BGO 2-fers are on 2 discs. I'm not sure why sometimes they are and sometimes not.

Anyway, I will be picking this one up, as both of these are great albums, especially Blue and Gray. Being a big Poco fan I already have both these albums on vinyl and cd. I bought the other BGO Poco 2-fers if for no other reason just for the liner notes and pictures. The nice remastering was the icing on the cake, and I expect this one will get alot of playtime around my house.

Every BGO reissue I have sounds like utter crap.

I've found BGO to be inconsistent. Some sound great, others (Matthews Southern Comfort is an extreme example) sound dreadful.
Re Poco: I'm a huge fan of their CBS period, but never got into the later ABC releases other than the one hit.
