They had 3 studio LP's on UNI, not two... The first self-titled album, then "Another Time, Another Place", then "Creation" in 1969. Perhaps this live album was recorded before "Creation"? Another album, "For Sale" was released on Ampex in 1970. Recorded at a high school? Hmm...

I got this today.
I'm enjoying it so far. This sounds nothing like their studio records....heavy extended hard bluesy jamming...somewhere near Cream, Steppenwolf or Mountain. 4 of the songs are over 8 minutes.
Edit: The CD fades out in the middle of San Francisco Girls. I would think it's because of the tape....but if you were going to buy the CD based on this...letting you know in advance.
FYI - Sundazed lists this CD as being Limited Edition. The limited edition threat may mean nothing, since you can still easily get their reissues of the 1st 2 Blues Magoos albums (supposedly only 1000 copies each from back in February)......but if you were thinking about getting it, might as well now.

They were pretty much broken up and did this album to finish off their contract. The band hated each other during this concert.
