I foresee a final round showdown between Kane and Raiders.

Depending on how El Presidente does the next round of bracketing. Or we could be saying farewell to a Final Four lock a round early.
Kane vs. Samurai.

Judging by the number of votes we could be looking at " Raiders" vs. " Casablanca".
Obviously, we IMWANkers are partial to movies that take place in Northern Africa.

I noticed that, too. In the first round they were the only two to eclipse 30 votes. In the second, the only two to crack 20.

Changed the thread title to better reflect what this is. Easier to just use this as a catchall index of the matches and results.

The Final Four is decided!
The IMWAN Film vs. Film Challenge - Round 3 Final Results
Round 3, Match 1: The Godfather vs. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
WINNER: The Godfather, 20-15
Round 3, Match 2: Citizen Kane vs. Psycho
WINNER: Citizen Kane, 19-11
Round 3, Match 3: Rear Window vs. Casablanca
WINNER: Casablanca, 23-8
Round 2, Match 4: Raiders of the Lost Ark vs. Seven Samurai
WINNER: Raiders of the Lost Ark, 23-10
And so, squaring off in the final four will be The Godfather, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Damn, those are going to be tough.

"The cream always rises to the top".
As the most quoted works of lit in my native language (American-Jersey) are
The Bible, Shakespeare, and The Godfather, I know how I'm voting.

You simply have to square them off like that. (Kane/Godfather and Casablanca/Raiders)

Maybe you should just give Raiders a bye to the finals, and make the other 3 movies battle this round.

Pretty much any combo will make for tough choices. I suspect Raiders wins no matter what it's put up against. The others are a total crapshoot. Who knows?
Raiders and Godfather in the finals? Or Raiders and Casablanca?

Maybe we should do Raiders vs. Jaws in the finals. Leave out the other, unworthies altogether.

Probably. Too bad, though. All the others are better movies.

There were too many Hitch movies. I undervoted for them since 16 of the 32 seeds were directed by either Hitchcock or Kubrick.
Todd
