When Bob was hired to head up Legendary Comics, the publishing subsidiary of Legendary Pictures, it was only a matter of time.
Originally Holy Terror was to be Batman: Holy Terror by Frank Miller. But when DC fired Bob Schreck over the Batman pottymouth episode, that was not to be.
The main character was rejigged, renamed The Fixer, and now this revenge fantasy, thematically one man taking down those responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but no doubt having wider reference and meaning, will be published ten years to the month after that tragedy, by Legendary Comics. Frank Miller’s Holy Terror, in September, in hardcover for $29.99.

I have rather enjoyed some of Miller's recent descents into insanity. DK2 was a lot of fun, even if the art was wonky. ASB&R sucked, but in a funny way. This could be brilliant, or it could be The Spirit. It's about 50/50 either way.

I just clicked the link and saw the promo art, and that was enough to change my mind on this. This will suck. I'll get it out of the library and read the whole thing, but nothing good can come of this.

Is the "Legendary" imprint a continuation of the Legend brand that Miller and his friends used at Dark Horse in the '90s?
