I was reading the french edition. I meant the Cary Bates (i think) stories.
The voodoo guy, the general, etc.. Those stories were my Batgirl.

YES! But, sadly, I was away.
And, as much as I might want to buy a Batgirl comic (and currently buying a Batgirl
comic, by the way), I seriously doubt that DC will be able to do Babs any justice, but I
eagerly buy, and buy multiple copies, hoping that they do.

They gave Babs a one-shot issue : Batgirl Special #1 (June 1988) which was used
as her official "retirement issue" before they had the Joker shoot her.

They later gave her a nice Batgirl: year one series.
