Nice!

I'll edit this down and post it on IMWAN.

I'm assuming animated films are not eligible?

Only adaptations of comic-book or comic-strip heroes are eligible. Also, only live action.

Now post your top tens in here, everybody. Years later we'll want to find these and we'll forget they were in a Thor thread.

No problem. This is a spin-off from the Thor thread.

The Incredibles is f*cking awesome, of course.

This thread should not be about what your Top 10 are, this thread should where we can debate what is eligible.

These would be my 10 favorites, albeit not necessarily what I think are the 10 best:

1) Batman Returns (1992)
2) Batman Begins (2005)
3) The Dark Knight (2008)
4) X2: X-Men United
5) Superman (1978)
6) Spider-Man 2
7) Watchmen (2009)
8) The Incredible Hulk (2008)
9) Thor (2011)
10) Spider-Man (2002)

If we allowed animated films, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm would come in around #6 or so.

That's a whole separate debate.

I want to apologize to you, Darkman. You are one of the best superhero movies ever, but with a flick of the keyboard, Doot kept you out.

What's that Bruce Willis? Unbreakable? No, I'm sorry. It's people like you that forced us into this unfortunate position.

This list is based on Rafael's critera. Super-powered characters, based on pre-existing comics.

But you knew that.

There are people dressed as DC superheroes in American Splendor.

And Adam West appears in The Happy Hooker goes to Washington.

I would like both movies added to the list please.
