I still haven't bought the first batch due to high import prices and a few negative reviews of the sound-does anyone have these? I find it hard to believe EMI did a bad job, but who knows?
Anyway, I love these next three albums and would very much like to get them...

According to Deep-Purple.net, the next three WHITESNAKE remasters have finally been scheduled for March 12 release in the U.K. 1981's "Come An' Get It" features DEEP PURPLE members Jon Lord and Ian Paice alongside WHITESNAKE mainman David Coverdale; "Live In The Heart Of The City" comprises material from two London shows in 1978 and 1980 (the former was before Paice joined); and the "Saints An' Sinners" album, recorded in 1982, was the final album to include Bernie Marsden and Ian Paice. The bonus tracks on "Come an' Get It" apparently include rough mixes of "Child of Babylon", "Come An' Get It", and "Till The Day I Die", alternate versions of "Girl", and "Lonely Days Lonely Nights", and the backing track of "Hit An' Run". "Saints An' Sinners" includes "Young Blood" and "Saints An' Sinners" complete with early vocal takes, and one (unfinished) unreleased song called "Soul Survivor".

As previously reported, a 12-minute audio interview with WHITESNAKE/ex-DEEP PURPLE frontman David Coverdale, conducted in December 2006 by Deep-Purple.net, has been made available for download at this location.

WHITESNAKE's video for the new studio song "Ready to Rock" has been posted online at this location (Real Media). The track is one of four previously unreleased cuts that appear on WHITESNAKE's new live record, entitled "Live… In the Shadow of the Blues", which was issued in Europe in November via Steamhammer/SPV Records.

WHITESNAKE has set "Good to be Bad" as the title of its forthcoming studio album, tentatively due next summer. A 20th anniversary reissue of the multi-platinum "1987" album (featuring a bonus DVD) is expected in the spring.

Just picked up a promo DVD of the new Whitesnake Tour DVD. Great reviews contained within. Scheduled for this weekend viewing!

It will be interesting to see if the LITHOTC disc will be the complete set (like the early European disc). It will be tough to beat the original discs for sound.

I just received the first 3 Whitesnake remasters (Trouble, Love Hunter and Ready And Willing) from Amazon.UK at a great price and they're all beautifully done. The sound is a bit loud, but in no way does it distract me from the enjoyment of how clean they all sound. And believe me, I've heard loud remasters and these are not a problem. Not to me anyway.
Nice packaging, detailed liner notes, bonus tracks that make sense-great stuff.
The first 3 are on sale at Amazon.UK for about 4,97 each which comes out to about $10 US which was a sweet deal.
The current 3 (Live In The Heart Of The City, Come An' Get It and Saints And Sinners) are still in the 11, 97 range which is too much for me, but the others were too, so I believe after these have been out for a bit they will come down to the level of the others.
Again, very nice-great job by EMI and Peter Mew did the mastering who I think always does a good job.
