Amazon US has it for $76.85 with a release date a week later than the UK one. Also pricey with a lot of duplication of tunes. But I'm a sucker for Richard and Linda Thompson, separately and together.

That actually makes purchase less likely for me. I literally have over 500 music dvd's I haven't watched, I just don't have time. I try to at least rip the audio to cd for my favorites, but for audio Dolby (used on most dvd's) is inferior to cd quality.

I'll never tell
I just ordered this at the lower price. I understand there are some issues with the playback speed with some of the tracks running a bit fast on the 2nd or 3rd disc.
It's a no brainer for me from amazon UK at that price. It's cheaper to just order from the UK and wait a while.
You won't be disappointed, especially at that price (I paid around $35 for mine, and it was worth every penny). The packaging is nice, there's some excellent live footage on the DVD, and most of the performances on the CDs are great (even when the sound quality is spotty, especially at the beginning of disc 1). Enjoy.
Have I ever told you guys how much I love you and this place. My wallet (and the decreasing amount of empty space in my house) curse you. But I sing your praises. Thanks for posting this.

I recently discovered that before last night I had placed 52 orders with Amazon in the last 6 months

I'm guessing each order didn't include just one CD, DVD or Blu-Ray, right? This is why you should never review your Amazon account.

Yep, & I normally don't. Came up with the CSN issue.

Received mine today BUT will need to contact "Blowitoutofhere" in that the Kenny Loggins GH's has NO notation that it is a SACD. At $5.95 I knew this had to be a mistake. I will let you know how I make out on this, meanwhile though I am syked to listening and viewing the boxset this weekend.

WARNING: The way the discs are held in the case is the most dumb ass system I've ever seen. For those who don't have it, I don't know how to even describe it; they're kind of held in by small plastic clips in trays & it's extremely challenging to get the discs out without snapping the discs in half. Needless to say, mine were immediately moved to jewelcases. Disc #3 was also scratched, & it wasn't the seller's fault.
Also, the dvd material is NOT repeated on cd's; if the sound quality is any good it's going to be rip the audio & burn.

the sound quality is good enough on the dvd that I would have much rather had it in cd quality (they used dolby). Also sucks they used dolby at all as the dvd only uses 3.34 gb of the 4.5 gb available on a dvd5, so there would have been room for quality LPCM audio without having to incure the extra 25 cent expense of going to a dual layer dvd.
Oh well, the price was right from the 3rd party seller. Just pisses me off when giant corps (Universal in this case) harm the music & packaging to make an extra 50 cents.

I've listened to the dvd 2 x (haven't got to the cd's yet), once as a dvd, & once as a cd. While I am not taking back any of my prior comments, the music is so good on the dvd that I would have a hard time bitching about spending $22 just on it, other than the dolby audio.
I have the official UK L&R live cd from a couple years ago, & as memory serves, this is better.
