Sorry, it's close to dinner time. What was the question?

Ron, I said... no. Sorry. I miss your bicycle wheel. It screamed... "YOU" where Aquaman... well, he doesn't scream. He just blows bubbles.

Not only that, but the last time I started an avatar thread, I think only four people responded... and you weren't one of them. ;-)

We get the caption "ACTION-PLUS!" ... on a head shot of the superhero, cause headshots SCREAM action! :-)

If I can get that pork with some egg and cheese on a roll, my choice is clear.

S'cool. I should have responded, my apologies. I like the wheel too, it'll be back.

It's the bubbles that scream action, I think. Or motion, at least. Aquaman looks a bit like the Hoff in that particular pic, which is slightly disturbing. Maybe it's just me.

Any avatar featuring an underwater character is okay by me. That's not very actiony though. It is funny when you first see it, but somehow doesn't remain as funny, or get funnier. Maybe 'Action plus - with Taft' would be funnier.

Was there ever an Aqualass, or was that vacancy filled by Lori Lemaris?

I voted yes. Who can resist an avatar of Aquaman farting underwater? That's definitely action-plus!

I voted Yes too. Water-based heroes need love! You better hope that Melissa doesn't notice this thread, though ...

You could do an animated gif with your bike, Aquaman, and Barry Allen. Go for the triathlon vibe.

I voted pork. In the words of Vincent Vega, "Bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste good."

I'm telling you, Ronny, put some kind of notice in the thread's title that Mel shouldn't look! You're playing with fire when you say you like water!!

Melissa, I must firmly but kindly disagree with you. Namor is among my favourite characters ever. The first introduction I had to Marvel were the 'limited animation' cartoons that used to be on TV before I went to school every weekday. I still know the words to the theme songs from those cartoons (geeky, but true). My favourite one, by a mile, was Namor (The Prince of the Deep).

I have a couple of Bowen mini-busts - Triton (my favourite Inhuman) is one of them. The only full-sized statue I've actually considered getting is the one of Namor (in his funky black outfit). Underwater characters have always fascinated me - From Marrina in Alpha Flight to that guy from Dallas (Patrick Duffy?) as The Man from Atlantis (yes, as a child, I would actually swim around in the pool like that, imitating him), I love 'em all! I even liked the underwater sequences in The Phantom Menace, and was a tad disappointed in Attack of The Clones when they didn't have an underwater sequence on the planet Kamino (those guys were so obviously amphibians...I mean, come on!). If there's an undersea city, or people who can exist underwater, I'm totally hooked, and it's all because of that Namor cartoon when I was five or six years old. I even got annoyed when I was reading The Science of Superheroes (by Lois Gresh and Robert Weinberg) earlier this year and they dismissed the notion of underwater characters as 'implausible' (What?! The Hulk and The X-Men are plausible...but Namor and Aquaman aren't? What the hell are these people smoking? I digress...)

Phew! There, I think that was everything I needed to get off my chest! They don't suck...I actually have a theory that they breathe through their skin..... :)

That's nice.

FREAK!!!

:ohno:

After a night of rest and breakfast, I'll have to stick with my original answer of Pork(had to make sure hunger wasn't influencing my decision).

I like it, but it doesn't ...move me.

So I voted for pork.

Perhaps a presidential portrait would garner you the respect you desire.
