Soft focus works. You look like a teenager.

It's also several years old. Although most folks are amazed at what a geezer I really am. I regularly pass for about ten years younger than I am.

Two weeks ago, I got my first license photo - hell, my first photo ID - in about 12 years. I'd be living without photo ID since 1994/1995 or so.
Steven looks like a kid in that picture!
I, on the other hand, do not in mine.

Really? I thought you were required by law to have some form of photo ID these days. Maybe it's a state mandated thing?

I'm amazed how coherent my old student ID photo looks...In the span of 36 hours, I graduated from high school, went to my Senior all-nighter, got about 3 hours of sleep, then drove down to Pullman and moved into my dorm room, got another 2 hours of sleep, then went to register for Summer Session, at which point I got this picture taken.

I wish I still had my ID from when I was 18. The day before I had been to an outdoor concert, so I'm horribly sunburned, and I'm wearing a light green t-shirt. Looks like I just escaped from a chain gang.

It's only recently in my state that your license HAS to be a photo license. Previously you could forgoe the photo once you hit the age of 25 (or somewhere around there). That's what I opted to do, since going to the DMV was a pain. I never really ran into a circumstance when I needed a photo ID until I had to get on a plane.
