The Superman films are coming to Blu-ray.

I can't see the need to rebuy these.

Ditto. It's sorta weird seeing scenes from the Reeve films spliced with the new one.

Like awesome spliced with suck.

Well, the special effects and stuff were good in that movie.

It falls into the "Ang Lee" Hulk territory for me -- with Ang's Hulk, I can watch the Hulk v. the US Army scene over and over again. Taken on it's own, it's almost perfect Hulk. when that DVD is played, I skip straight to that scene, watch it, then move on.

Same thing with Singer's Superman -- the plane rescue is pitch perfect and I could watch that over and over again.

(And frankly, I'd rather watch Supey Returns than Superman III or IV.)

I thought Superman Returns was great, and I was hoping to see more with Brandon Routh as Superman.
