Geoff Johns should probably be on my list, but I feel he's gotten too dark in the past few years. I loved his first run on Flash, but couldn't get into his new take. Bummer that.

Yeah, I loved Johns on his first JSA run. DC and Marvel has scared me off their current product in the last few years though.

You know what just occurred to me reading this post? I have never read Johns' Marvel work. How is this possible?


I read his Avengers run, and liked it. There was some controversy about a Hank-Janet love scene, but I forget what that was all about... someone else besides Johns writing it and Johns leaving the book over it? I can't remember exactly, but then Chuck Austen came on and the book went to hell.
