SIX songs from "Love Deluxe"? The lame "Jezebel" and wrist-slitting-inducing "Pearls"? "Immigrant" instead of "Lovers Rock"? The Neptunes remix of "By Your Side"?

And where's that unavailable song she recorded around 2003/4/5 for a film soundtrack or something?

i assume you are referring to "please send me someone to love" from the "philadelphia" soundtrack.

It's on the Best of Sade. "Please Send Me Someone To Love"

Now, come on, you didn't really expect they'd put that on the new set and make the old one obsolete, did you?

Sade apparently covers Thin Lizzy here:

"Killer Blow" from the Absolute Beginners soundtrack never seems to be recognized, though it is stylistically different from anything in Sade's repertoire.

Me thinks it's pretty nice! So great to see this song, one of the most beautiful ever written covered in a pleasant way. It lacks the passion and guitar work of both the original and the definitive live version but it's good.
Since I'm fan of Sade as well this was cool to see-it never would've dawned on me that this was the Lizzy classic!

No, no; not that one; there was one post Lovers Rock, but I can't remember what it was called! I think the song or the film it was from (might even have been a documentary) may have been about mothers or children or something like that...?

I believe you are thinking of Sade's song "Mum" form the Voices from Dafur project.

Yeah! It's pretty tasteful and surprisingly works very well.

DVD tracklisting:

1. Hang On To Your Love
2. The Sweetest Taboo
3. Is It A Crime
4. Never As Good As The First Time
5. Love Is Stronger Than Pride
6. Paradise
7. Turn My Back On You
8. Nothing Can Come Between Us
9. No Ordinary Love
10. Feel No Pain
11. Kiss Of Life
12. Cherish The Day
13. By Your Side
14. King Of Sorrow
15. Soldier Of Love
16. Babyfather

Disappointing that "Your Love Is King" and "Smooth Operator" are not included. What is up with that? "Smooth Operator" is one of their biggest hits (at least in the US). I also wish the CD had included the "Smooth Operator/Red Eye" version.

The DVD is only available with the UK import, correct? 'Cause I ordered the import to get the DVD.

I ordered the version with a DVD from the Sony US website, mainly because it came with a special pre-order code for concert tickets in advance of the regular on sale date. It actually comes in a separate single sleeve, unlike the UK version which looks to be either a digi-pak or slipcase of some kind. Disappointing overall, but I got relatively good tickets to see her in concert, so I can't complain too much!
