Let's say that you're able to commission a single issue comic book starring any character you want, by any living writers and artists. So, for example, you could commission an issue of Fantastic Four written by Alan Moore and drawn by Chris Sprouse. Or Amazing Spider-Man by Peter David and John Byrne. Hell, you could even get a Harry Potter comic by Grant Morrison and Bill Watterson.

So, what would your top five picks be?

How about a Babs Gordon Batgirl story by Linda Burns and Kevin Nowlan?

And I'd be happy with a few more Thor: The Mighty Avenger books
by Roger Langridge and Chris Samnee.

That nearly happened, or at least it was in the process of happening.
But I think Marvel was doing John Byrne's Spider-Man Year One at about the same time,
and Ditko passed apparently because of this.

Sad.

No, we got to see where he took the book. We never got to see what Ditko would have done.

It's not the art I want to see as much as where he would have like to have gone.

When Moore's done with that, how about he finishes 1963?

Well, Monk asked for the Top Five, so:

1. Supreme: The Conclusion by Alan Moore and Art Adams, with Mike Allred (as stolen from Hanzo.)

2. 1963: The Conclusion written by Alan Moore. With the 1990s characters drawn by Mark Silvestri, and the 1963 characters drawn by Bruce Timm

3. Glory: The Conclusion, written by Alan Moore, art by Adam Hughes

4. Youngblood: The Conclusion, written by Alan Moore, art by Chris Bacchalo

5. can't think of a fifth one.
